Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Store Lead in Eden Prairie, MN to guide a team of framers in delivering high-quality, custom framing solutions and exceptional customer service.

You will oversee daily operations, coach staff, and partner with the Store Manager to optimize workflow and sales performance. You will work in a busy retail environment with nights, weekends and early mornings as required, ensuring SOP compliance and a positive customer experience while promoting the company

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred
• Retail management experience
• Experience leading a sales team

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers to build customer relationships and framing solutions.
• Drive custom framing sales and manage workload with Store Manager.
• Assist with interviewing, on-boarding, and training of new team members.
• Ensure SOP adherence, safety, and inventory/shrink programs.
• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) and promote company values.
