Job summary

Michaels in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a Store Lead to coach a framing team, drive custom framing sales, and assist customers in creating memorable framing solutions.

You will partner with the Store Manager to plan workloads, manage inventory, uphold SOPs and safety standards, and deliver outstanding customer service. This role requires flexibility with nights and weekends. Previous retail management and framing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Previous retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the framing team to meet KPI targets.
• Assist Store Manager with SOPs, programs, and policy compliance.
• Plan workload and prioritize framing projects with the Store Manager.
• Ensure on-time delivery of custom framing solutions to customers.
• Oversee inventory management and shrink control programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Participate in interviewing, onboarding, and training of new team members.
• Maintain a positive and respectful store environment.
