Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking a Store Lead in Saint Cloud, MN to guide a framing team in delivering high‑quality customer solutions. You will coach staff, drive custom framing sales, and plan workloads with the Store Manager to meet deadlines and customer expectations.

You’ll oversee inventory, safety, and processes, participate in hiring and training, and support omnichannel initiatives while modeling positive leadership and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred.
• Retail management experience.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a framing team to build customer relationships and drive framing sales.
• Manage workload with the Store Manager to deliver high-quality framing solutions on time.
• Achieve KPI targets and guide the team toward sales goals.
• Oversee inventory, shrink control, and safety programs.
• Participate in interviewing, onboarding, and training of new team members.
• Support Talent Development and performance management activities.
• Act as Manager on Duty and partners with other MODs on framing operations.
• Assist with Omni channel processes and customer assistance.
