Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Store Manager candidate for the Lancaster, PA area to lead store operations, drive sales, and coach a framing team.

You will ensure SOPs, policies, and customer service standards are met, while developing team selling behaviors and maintaining a safe, productive store environment. Responsibilities include planning workload with the Store Manager, achieving KPIs, managing inventory, and acting as Manager on Duty.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred.
• Retail management experience is preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in SOP compliance and policy execution.
• Develop and coach team selling behaviors.
• Lead high-quality framing solutions delivery to customers on time.
• Achieve KPIs and manage the framing team to meet their targets.
• Review sales and production workload and plan floor time.
• Manage inventory, shrink and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching and training of new team members.
