Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. in Lancaster, PA seeks a Store Manager/Framing Lead to guide a team of framers, focus on building customer relationships, and drive custom framing sales.

You will plan workloads with the Store Manager and lead a team to deliver high-quality framing solutions. Key responsibilities include coaching selling behaviors, managing KPI targets, inventory and safety programs, and serving as Manager on Duty.

Qualifications

• Preferred: experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs; ensure compliance and store standards.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time by planning workload with the Store Manager.
• Achieve KPI targets and manage framing team KPIs.
• Review sales and production workload; build plans for staffing and floor time.
• Manage inventory, shrink and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching and training of new team members; support talent development and performance management.
• Partner with MODs on framing expectations and provide positive leadership.
