Job summary

Michaels Lancaster store is seeking a Store Lead to coach a framing team, build customer relationships, and drive custom framing sales. You will plan workloads, monitor KPIs, and ensure inventory accuracy while enforcing SOPs.

The role includes training new team members, acting as Manager on Duty, and upholding safety standards in a fast-paced retail environment. Strong leadership, customer service, and a passion for frames and art are essential to succeed in this on-site role with opportunities

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance and standards.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Deliver high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time by planning workload with the Store Manager.
• Achieve KPIs and manage the framing team to meet targets.
• Review sales and production workload and plan floor time for networking.
• Manage inventory, shrink, and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training of new team members; support Talent Development and performance management.
