Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Paramus, NJ is seeking a Store Manager/Operations Leader to support adherence to SOPs, coach the framing team, and ensure high-quality framing solutions for customers.

The role involves planning workload with the Store Manager, achieving KPIs, and managing inventory, shrink, and safety programs. You will serve as Manager on Duty, participate in interviewing and training, and collaborate with MODs to maintain a positive, values-driven store environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead the delivery of high-quality framing solutions to customers on time by planning workload with the Store Manager.
• Achieve KPIs and manage the framing team to meet their KPIs.
• Review sales and production workload and plan sales floor time for networking.
• Manage inventory processes and shrink and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching and training of new team members; participate in Performance Mgmt. activities.
• Partner with MODs on framing expectations; maintain a positive, respectful workplace and model company values.
• Participate in truck unloading and stocking; ensure SOPs and company programs are followed; maintain safe environment.
• Acknowledge customers, locate products and provide solutions; assist with Omni channel processes.
