Job summary

The Michaels Companies seeks a capable store leader to support the Store Manager in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring SOP compliance while guiding the framing team.

You will coach associates, manage daily workflows, prioritize custom framing projects, monitor inventory and safety programs, and represent the store with a positive image in the community.

This full-time role requires flexible hours, including nights and weekends, and offers benefits and team discounts.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred.
• Retail management experience.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage adherence to SOPs and company programs.
• Develop and coach team selling behaviors.
• Deliver high-quality custom framing solutions on time.
• Achieve KPIs and manage framing team's KPI delivery.
• Review workload, plan staffing and sales floor time.
• Manage inventory and shrink/safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching and training.
• Support talent development and performance management.
• Collaborate with MODs on framing expectations.
• Promote a positive image and uphold company values.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes.
