Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. in Spring, TX is seeking a Store Lead and Framer to coach a team of framers and drive custom framing sales. You will lead day-to-day operations, ensure SOP adherence, and deliver high-quality framing solutions while building strong customer relationships.

You will plan workloads with the Store Manager, develop selling behaviors, manage inventory and safety programs, and support recruiting, onboarding, and training of new team members. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the framing team to deliver high-quality custom framing solutions.
• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating framing solutions.
• Plan workload and staffing in partnership with Store Manager to meet KPI targets.
• Manage inventory, shrink and safety programs across the store.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and support onboarding and training of team members.
• Uphold SOPs and company policies while delivering excellent customer service.
