Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Austin, TX seeks a Store Lead — Framing to manage a team of framers, drive custom framing sales, and create memorable framing solutions for customers. You will lead operations with a strong focus on customer relationships and framing quality.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, meeting KPIs, scheduling workload, inventory control, safety programs, and acting as MOD. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and early mornings as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Experience leading a sales team is preferred.
• Retail management experience is preferred.
• Experience in custom framing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the framing team to build customer relationships and framing solutions.
• Drive custom framing sales and ensure on-time delivery of projects.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training of new team members.
• Manage inventory, shrink, safety programs, and SOP adherence.
