Job summary

The Michaels Stores in Austin, TX is seeking a Store Lead to coach the framing team and drive custom framing sales. You will work with the Store Manager to ensure SOP adherence, schedule workload, and deliver high-quality framing solutions to customers.

You will also participate in interviewing, onboarding, and training while maintaining store standards and inventory controls. Must be able to lift materials and work a retail schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the framing team to deliver custom framing solutions.
• Drive custom framing sales by assisting customers in creating solutions.
• Manage store operations and SOP adherence with the Store Manager.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and coaching new team members.
• Handle truck unloading, stocking, and inventory processes.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a safe, clean environment.
