Job summary

Michaels Stores in Round Rock, TX seeks a Store Lead to coach a framing team and drive custom framing sales. You will partner with the Store Manager to ensure SOP compliance, deliver high-quality framing solutions, manage KPI attainment, and lead talent development across shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities include interviewing new team members, onboarding, and supporting omni-channel processes while maintaining a safe store environment and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred.
• Retail management experience.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs; ensure policies and standards are followed.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time; plan workload with Store Manager.
• Achieve KPIs and manage framing team KPI attainment.
• Review workload, plan sales floor time and networking.
• Manage inventory, shrink and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching and training of new team members; participate in Talent Development.
