Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. in Denton, TX is seeking a Store Lead to coach a team of framers and deliver custom framing solutions for customers, while building strong relationships and driving sales.

You will manage daily store operations, uphold SOPs, plan workload with the Store Manager, mentor staff, handle onboarding, and support omnichannel customer experiences in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the framing team to deliver on-time, high-quality framing solutions.
• Develop and coach selling behaviors to drive framing sales.
• Manage inventory, shrink, and safety programs.
• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) and ensure SOP compliance.
• Interview, onboard, train, and develop new team members.
• Plan workload with Store Manager to meet KPI targets.
• Assist with Omni channel processes and customer engagements.
