Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. seeks a Store Lead Framer in Denton, TX to guide a team of framers in crafting custom framing solutions for customers. You will drive sales, coach selling behaviors, and partner with the Store Manager to plan workloads and achieve KPIs.

Ideal candidates bring experience in retail management or framing sales, plus strong teamwork and customer service skills. This is a hands-on role with emphasis on leadership and daily store operations.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management and sales team leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers to deliver high-quality framing solutions.
• Assist customers in creating memorable framing plans and driving sales.
• Develop and coach the team on selling behaviors and SOP adherence.
• Plan workload with Store Manager to meet deadlines and KPI targets.
• Participate in interviewing, onboarding and training of new team members.
• Maintain inventory, safety programs and store standards.
