Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in San Jose, CA is seeking a Store Lead Framer who will guide a team of framers, build strong customer relationships, and drive custom framing sales.

You will partner with the Store Manager to plan workloads, coach staff on selling behaviors, ensure SOP compliance, and deliver high-quality framing solutions on time while managing inventory and safety. This role requires adaptability for evenings and weekends and a focus on customer satisfaction in a busy retail

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers to build customer relationships and provide framing solutions.
• Drive and achieve custom framing sales targets.
• Assist customers in creating framing solutions for their art and projects.
• Plan workload with the Store Manager to deliver framing on time.
• Monitor KPI attainment for the framing team and manage performance.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training of new team members.
