The Michaels Companies Inc. in Toms River, NJ is seeking a Store Manager to lead the framing team, uphold SOPs, and deliver high-quality custom framing solutions to customers. You will coach employees, drive sales, and coordinate with the Store Manager to plan and execute daily operations.

Responsibilities include achieving KPIs, managing inventory and safety programs, and serving as Manager on Duty. The role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and early mornings, with comprehensive

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred.
• Retail management experience.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead framing solutions to customers on time by planning workload with the Store Manager.
• Achieve KPI targets and manage the framing team to meet their KPIs.
• Review sales and production workload and plan floor time for networking.
• Manage inventory and shrink and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Participate in interviewing, onboarding, coaching, training and Performance Mgmt activities.
• Engage with MODs daily on framing expectations; promote company values.
• Support Omni channel processes and other duties as assigned.
