Job summary

Osmo is seeking a Compounder to accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials and essential oils according to formulas and batch sheets in our sample lab. This role emphasizes precision, understanding material characteristics, and developing sensory judgment to stand out from routine processing.

Responsibilities include verifying materials, operating production equipment, ensuring safety compliance, and assisting in inventory management in a fast-paced environment. Lift required up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years hands-on sample lab compounding in fragrance or flavor manufacturing.
• Extreme attention to detail when measuring, weighing, and blending raw materials.
• Able to follow written formulas and instructions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Fragrance compounding—accurately measure, weigh, and mix materials per formulas and batch sheets.
• Verify materials and formulas against specifications and batch sheets.
• Operate and maintain mixing tanks, scales, pumps, and production equipment per SOPs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and handle hazardous materials with PPE.
• Monitor inventory and notify supervisors of shortages.
• Collaborate with quality control and production teams for consistency.
