Job summary

Osmo is seeking a Compounder to accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials and essential oils according to formulas and batch sheets in our sample lab. This role emphasizes precision, material knowledge, and development of sensory judgment to distinguish a strong candidate from someone who simply follows steps.

You will verify materials, operate and maintain equipment, and follow safety protocols in a fast‑paced production lab, supporting collaboration with quality control and production

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands‑on sample lab compounding experience within fragrance or flavor manufacturing.
• Extreme attention to detail and accuracy measuring, weighing, and blending raw materials.
• Able to follow written formulas and instructions precisely.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Able to lift 25 lbs

Responsibilities

• Fragrance Compounding — Accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials and essential oils according to formulas and batch sheets.
• Verify Materials & Formulas — Check materials against specifications and batch sheets before use, and flag discrepancies.
• Equipment Operation & Maintenance — Operate and clean mixing tanks, scales, pumps, and other production equipment while following SOPs.
• Safety & Compliance — Follow all company safety protocols, including hazardous material handling and PPE.
• Inventory Management — Monitor raw material stock levels using Osmo's inventory system and notify supervisors of shortages.
• Collaboration — Work closely with quality control and production teams to ensure consistency and efficiency.
