Job summary

Osmo is seeking a Compounder to accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials and essential oils according to formulas and batch sheets in our sample lab. This is a craft and requires precision, knowledge of material characteristics, and developing sensory judgment.

You will work with quality control and production teams in a fast-paced environment, with responsibility for material handling and inventory management, and lifting up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of hands-on sample lab compounding experience within fragrance or flavor manufacturing
• Extreme attention to detail and accuracy weighing, measuring, and blending raw materials
• Able to follow written formulas and instructions precisely
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Able to lift 25 lbs

Responsibilities

• Fragrance Compounding — Accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials and essential oils according to formulas and batch sheets
• Verify Materials & Formulas — Check materials against specifications and batch sheets before use, and flag discrepancies before they become a downstream problem
• Equipment Operation & Maintenance — Operate and clean mixing tanks, scales, pumps, and other production equipment while following SOPs
• Safety & Compliance — Follow all company safety protocols, including hazardous material handling and PPE
• Inventory Management — Assist in monitoring raw material stock levels using Osmo's inventory system, and notify supervisors of shortages
• Collaboration — Work closely with quality control and production teams to ensure consistency and efficiency
