Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Category Manager to scale a book of enterprise partners and drive topline revenue growth for TikTok's US Commerce business. You will acquire and incubate merchants, explore innovative models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create value for brands, creators, and shoppers.

The role requires 3+ years in e-commerce with a proven sales track record and strong negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in e-commerce business.
• Track record of delivering & exceeding sales, GMV, or other commercial goals.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• A good team player, a fast learner, and open to changes.
• Preferred: Familiar with TikTok and other content platforms; experience in content-based e-commerce is highly preferred.
• Preferred: Strong connections with brands and distributors are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and incubate merchants to support category growth.
• Discover innovative collaborative models that align to the merchant's short-term and long-term development plans, and invest platform resources effectively and efficiently.
• Solve key challenges in business growth by strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Employ a consultative approach by offering strategic content, operations, creator/affiliate/agency partner, merchandising, and logistics solutions to all sellers.
• Update active sellers on TikTok Shop product developments and new promotional opportunities.
