Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Category Manager to scale a book of enterprise partners and drive topline revenue for TikTok's US Commerce business. You will work with brands, creators, and distributors to build a robust e-commerce ecosystem.

In this role you will acquire and incubate merchants, explore innovative collaboration models, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful growth, while maintaining a consultative, data-driven approach.

Qualifications

• This role works with merchants/brands located directly in Korea, business fluency in Korean is a must.
• Established experience in e-commerce business.
• Track record of delivering & exceeding sales, GMV, or other commercial goals.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• A good team player, a fast learner, and open to changes.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and incubate merchants to support category growth.
• Discover innovative collaborative models that align to the merchant's short-term and long-term development plans, and invest platform resources effectively and efficiently.
• Solve key challenges in business growth by strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Employ a consultative approach by offering strategic content, operations, creator/affiliate/agency partner, merchandising, and logistics solutions to all sellers.
• Update active sellers on TikTok Shop product developments and new promotional opportunities.
