Osmo in Elizabeth, NJ is seeking a Fragrance Compounder to join our production team. You will weigh, blend, and validate raw materials to create fragrance formulations, maintaining strict quality and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in fragrance or flavor compounding.
• Extreme attention to detail and accuracy when measuring, weighing, and blending raw materials.
• Basic knowledge of lab equipment.
• A trained or highly sensitive nose, with strong familiarity of olfactive families and fragrance structures
• Demonstrated proficiency in sensory evaluation and a highly developed, reliable olfactory sense. Candidates will be required to pass a sensory acuity screening.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Fragrance Compounding: Accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials and essential oils according to formulas and batch sheets.
• Quality Control: Distinguish raw material characteristics and report discrepancies.
• Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operate and clean mixing tanks, scales, pumps, and other production equipment per SOPs.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and wear PPE as required.
• Inventory Management: Monitor raw material stock levels and report shortages.
