Job summary

Bolder Apps is seeking a fractional HR lead to own people operations for a distributed team across the US, Central Asia, Georgia, and Latin America. Expect roughly ten hours per week on retainer, with end-to-end payroll in Rippling and recruiting in Workable and Hireflix.

You will design onboarding, offboarding, and SOPs so systems run without constant supervision. This is a build role focused on establishing scalable processes, policies, and templates.

Qualifications

• Experience running payroll end-to-end in a multi-country setup.
• Proven ability to structure and own people operations processes.
• Experience with remote, async teams and AI-assisted workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly payroll cycle in Rippling, reconciling with internal data.
• Maintain contracts and classifications across workers (W2, US 1099, global).
• Drive recruiting in Workable and Hireflix, shortlist with recommendations.
• Build onboarding and handoffs to managers for first-week plans.
• Oversee offboarding: final pay, access revocation, knowledge transfer.
• Write and maintain SOPs, offer templates, and policy docs.
• Keep PTO balances accurate and up-to-date.
