Job summary

Bolder Apps is seeking a fractional HR lead to own people operations for a distributed team across the US, Central Asia, Georgia, and Latin America. The role is on a retainer of about ten hours per week, fully remote and async-friendly.

You will run payroll in Rippling, manage contracts and classifications, and drive recruiting in Workable and Hireflix. You’ll also build onboarding and offboarding systems, SOPs, and scalable people ops processes to leave behind reliable, working systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly payroll cycle in Rippling, reconcile with internal numbers and fix issues blocking payments.
• Keep contracts and classifications clean, with correct tax forms for W2, US 1099, or global contractors.
• Run recruiting in Workable and Hireflix; post roles, stage candidates, screen for English and professionalism, and provide a ranked shortlist.
• Build onboarding systems including data intake, account creation, document generation, and signature collection.
• Run end-to-end offboarding: final pay, access revocation, equipment return, and knowledge transfer with the tech lead.
• Write and maintain SOPs, offer templates, and policy docs in one place and schedule revisions.
• Keep PTO balances accurate and up to date.
