Job summary

JETSET Pilates is seeking a Founding General Manager to lead a new Portland studio from ground up, partnering with ownership to recruit the team, build community momentum, and establish operational excellence. After opening, you’ll manage day-to-day operations, growth, and client experience, teaching 6-8 classes weekly and maintaining an in-studio presence.

You will complete the Instructor Training Academy, lead pre-opening marketing, and drive founding membership sales.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of operations or general management experience in boutique fitness, hospitality, or similar.
• Strong sales instincts with experience driving revenue targets and coaching others.

Responsibilities

• Execute local grassroots marketing initiatives pre-opening.
• Build relationships with local businesses, influencers, and community partners.
• Generate excitement and awareness leading up to launch.
• Build and manage a pipeline of founding members.
• Lead onboarding and training of the founding Instructor and Studio Lead team.
• Establish operational processes and studio workflows.
• Build schedules, staffing plans, and standards for the launch.
• Drive founding membership sales and pre-sale campaigns.
