Job summary

JETSET Pilates is a modern, music-driven Pilates brand redefining the boutique fitness experience. We seek a Founding General Manager to build a studio from the ground up, recruit and develop the team, and drive a successful launch with strong membership momentum.

Post-launch, you will run daily operations, nurture team growth, and maintain an exceptional client experience, teaching 6-8 classes weekly and ensuring you are present for core studio hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of operations or general management experience in boutique fitness, hospitality, or luxury membership services.
• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams, across locations or pre-opening contexts.
• Entrepreneurial self-starter who can operate with an evolving playbook.
• Strong sales instincts with experience driving revenue targets and coaching others.
• Highly analytical with ability to build reports, interpret data, and make data-driven decisions.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain attention to detail.
• Outstanding communicator who connects with people and fosters a positive client and team experience.
• Hands-on experience in fitness instruction or coaching is strongly preferred.
• Passion for community building and local wellness/hospitality landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Execute local grassroots marketing and community outreach for launch.
• Build relationships with local businesses, influencers, and partners.
• Lead pre-launch and launch campaigns to drive excitement and membership.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop founding studio team.
• Establish operational processes, scheduling, and studio workflows.
• Drive founding membership sales and pre-sale activities.
• Provide regular updates to ownership and identify opportunities to improve systems.
