Job summary

Featherless seeks a Sales Engineer to pair with the founding Account Executive in North America. You will own the technical win, map workloads, run POCs, and build a scalable demo environment.

You’ll craft benchmarks, discuss latency, throughput, and cost, and help drive the GTM engine with hands-on technical excellence. As the first SE, you’ll shape the function, create migration paths, and collaborate with product and engineering to close deals.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, or similar roles.
• Hands-on Python coding and demo-building experience.
• Familiarity with modern LLM inference and open-model ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical calls with buyers' stack: architecture reviews and live demos.
• Build migration paths off closed APIs or other inference providers.
• Run benchmarks and provide performance/cost analysis.
• Create reusable technical collateral and ensure security/compliance readiness.
• Write technical sections of proposals and RFP responses.
