Job summary

Toast is building a Retail Solutions Engineering team to support growth into a new vertical. We seek a founder’s mindset product and application expert who will join the sales process to drive revenue and ensure scalable, customer-aligned solutions.

You will join the founding team to revolutionize how retail operators use Toast’s platform, combining POS, customer-facing tech, and award-winning support to boost revenue and delight customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year Toast experience.
• A working POS knowledge.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to collaborate with Product Management.

Responsibilities

• Assist sales teams in presenting the Toast product and platform to prospects.
• Become an expert in the product with complete knowledge of the technologies and the application software.
• Identify prospect business challenges and position Toast platform or partner ecosystem as a solution.
• Communicate gaps in product/market fit to Product Management and Product Marketing.
• Provide training and product expertise with Sales Enablement.
• Attend trade shows and events as a Toast brand ambassador.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Sales Enablement, and Marketing.
• Work in an entrepreneurial environment.
