Job summary

Ramp seeks a founding Professional Services Consultant who becomes Ramp’s deepest product expert, blending hands-on configuration with strategic thought partnership for finance teams. You’ll map current-state workflows, design future-state solutions, and drive transformations across Ramp’s platform and client finance orgs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a customer-facing professional services, implementation, or solutions consulting role delivering SaaS implementations at mid‑market and enterprise scale.
• Minimum 1+ year at Ramp and a self-proclaimed product expert, capable of consulting on workflows and executing builds in-product.
• Ability to translate complex finance workflows into actionable Ramp configurations and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Discovery and process mapping across spend, procurement, AP, expense, travel, and close to identify optimization opportunities.
• Design and document end-to-end solutions with persona-based workflows, policy architecture, and deployment docs.
• Hands-on configuration: policies, approvals, GL mappings, multi-currency structures, roles and permissions.
• Coordinate ERP/HRIS integrations, data mapping, and security reviews with client teams.
• Configure agentic workflows, prompt design, and exception handling to fit client context.
• Develop and deliver enablement: admin certification, end-user training, and trainer sessions.
• Own QA, UAT, and hypercare post-go-live until the customer is stable.
• Drive organizational adoption with CSM and drive value realization post-implementation.
