Job summary

NewsBreak is hiring for a founding GTM role to lead merchant acquisition in the home-services space. You will own the end-to-end process from prospecting to onboarding, leveraging strong networks and a no-script approach to build a sustainable book of business.

You will shape pricing, packaging, and the go-to-market playbook, collaborating with product to refine the agent experience and lead quality. Base + uncapped commission with equity discussion.

Qualifications

• 3+ years selling to home-services contractors or similar
• Sold recurring $200–$2,000/month spend to owner-operators
• Demonstrated pipeline discipline and CRM hygiene
• Able to handle refund/dispute situations with customers

Responsibilities

• Own merchant acquisition end-to-end in home services: prospect, pitch, close, onboard
• Develop and leverage relationships and referral networks rather than cold calling
• Manage conversations around lead quality, credits, churn, and refunds
• Collaborate with product to relay merchants' objections and influence roadmap
• Experiment with pricing and packaging models (per-lead, subscription, hybrid)
