Job summary

Entegrata is seeking a Director of Solution Engineering to be the technical backbone of our sales process. You’ll guide evaluation, architecture, and adoption, partnering with sales to lead demonstrations and security reviews.

This is a founding role with no existing team; you’ll define how solution engineering works at Entegrata, building the function from the ground up and reporting to the VP of Sales.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a sales engineering, solutions engineering, or technical pre‑sales role, preferably at an enterprise SaaS or data platform company.
• Hands‑on experience with modern data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric).
• Comfort across cloud architecture, data pipelines, and integration concepts; Azure experience is a plus.
• Strong track record of leading technical demos and discussions with executives and technical stakeholders.
• Experience responding to RFPs/RFIs and completing security questionnaires (e.g., SIG, CAIQ).

Responsibilities

• Lead product demonstrations tailored to each prospect's environment and priorities.
• Conduct technical deep dives and infrastructure overviews with IT, security, and data teams.
• Own technical responses to RFPs and RFIs, translating platform capabilities into clear answers.
• Collaborate on security questionnaires with security and engineering teams.
• Own the sales‑to‑implementation handoff with technical context and requirements.
• Help build the solution engineering function from the ground up.
