Job summary
Thomson Reuters Foundation seeks a Lead Software Engineer for the CoCounsel Legal Desktop App to establish the technical foundation, select framework choices, and ship high-quality desktop software on Windows and macOS. You will collaborate with Product and Design, drive architecture decisions, and mentor a growing team of desktop engineers.
You will connect with backend services, ensure cross‑platform compatibility, and contribute to performance benchmarks while shaping the greenfield
Qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with desktop app focus for Windows and/or macOS.
- Experience leading technical direction on a desktop product, including architecture patterns and engineering standards.
- Track record shipping production desktop applications in enterprise contexts.
Responsibilities
- Define architecture and desktop engineering standards for the CoCounsel Legal desktop app.
- Deliver production desktop code across core features, including OS integrations and notifications.
- Mentor desktop engineers and collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams.
