Job summary

Featherless.ai is building the world’s most reliable open-model inference platform and is seeking a founding Business Development Rep for the US/CA market. You’ll bridge AI technology with customer engagement, speaking with model creators, startups, enterprises, and developers.

This is a non-traditional sales role requiring fluency in AI, strong communication, and a founder mindset. You will own pipeline, inbound & outbound, and partnerships from day one.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in Sales, Developer Relations, or Entrepreneurship.
• Comfortable engaging technical audiences (developers, founders, researchers).
• AI power user.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English — concise, credible, human.
• Entrepreneurial and self-driven — you operate independently and get things done.

Responsibilities

• Build & qualify pipeline across enterprises and AI startups.
• Manage inbound requests through chat and email.
• Manage outreach sequences and automations (HubSpot, Clay, Reply.io, n8n).
• Re-engage existing sign-ups and subscribers; identify high-value users.
• Track CRM, pipeline metrics, and weekly reporting.
• Attend events to generate pipeline and establish key relationships.
