Job summary

Kiewit Foundations Co. is seeking a Mid-Level Superintendent to directly manage field operations across North America. You will set safety, quality, schedule, and cost expectations while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with clients.

The role requires strong technical and practical knowledge of foundation methods, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a team environment. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in deep foundation and ground improvement operations.
• 3+ years supervisory experience as a superintendent.
• Strong knowledge of ground improvement and deep foundation methods.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and grow junior superintendents.
• Review and approve labor rates and subcontractor/comms.
• Manage contract administration and field management meetings.
• Develop client relations on site.
• Initiate and attend problem-solving meetings with the client.
• Oversee monthly job cost updates and cash flow projections.
• Review and approve or reject change orders.
• Develop and implement a plan for project completion and turnover.
• Maintain daily diary for records.
• Ensure timely performance evaluations for direct reports.
• Recommend organizational, policy or staff changes.
• Review and approve promotions up to General Foremen.
