Job summary

Kiewit Foundations Co. is seeking a Superintendent to lead field operations, emphasizing safety, quality, and schedule adherence on large geotechnical projects across North America.

A strong background in specialty foundations, ground improvement and SOE is required, with excellent communication to work effectively with teams and clients. The role focuses on mentoring junior staff, managing cost/equipment, and driving successful project turnover.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in planning, scheduling and management of deep foundation or ground improvement operations.
• 3+ years supervisory experience as a superintendent.
• Strong knowledge of ground improvement techniques and deep foundation methods.
• Experience with PPE and site safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and grow Jr. Superintendents.
• Review and approve labor rates and subcontractor coordination.
• Manage contract administration and client relations on site.
• Develop plans for project completion and turnover.
• Oversee cost updates and cash flow projections.
• Review, approve or negotiate change orders.
• Plan and document project progress daily and weekly.
• Ensure timely performance evaluations for direct reports.
