Job summary

Thompson Child & Family Focus - A Child's Place Program is seeking a Licensing and Training Specialist in the Foster Care Department. You will recruit, train, and license foster parents, providing pre-service training and guidance through licensing, with documentation to the state and agency.

You will ensure ongoing compliance, conduct quarterly supervision, maintain files, and collaborate with the foster care coordinator to support child placements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; excellent written and oral communication.
• Must have valid Driver's License and pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and license foster parents in the Foster Care Department.
• Provide pre-service training for potential foster parents.
• Assess and evaluate potential foster parents per state and agency policy.
• Guide through licensing process and submit documentation to state and agency.
• Maintain audit-ready files and provide quarterly supervision/assessment.
