Job summary

Thompson Child & Family Focus - A Child's Place Program in Tennessee is seeking a Licensing Supervisor for the Foster Care department. You will lead Licensing and Training Specialists and drive licensing, compliance, and recruitment efforts in a trauma-informed, outcomes-driven way.

You will review status reports, coach staff, manage workflows, and partner with program leaders to support foster families. The role is community-based or hybrid, with occasional evenings or weekends for

Qualifications

• Must have Tennessee Driver’s License.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field with 2+ years of direct experience; or
• Master’s degree in social work with 1 year of direct experience; or
• Master’s in Human Services with 2 years of direct experience; or
• Bachelor’s in Human Services with 3 years of direct experience; or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, oversight, and support to Licensing and Training Specialists.
• Ensure foster home licensing, licensing compliance, and recruiting meet regulatory standards.
• Review status reports, supervise staff, and coach for performance and outcomes.
• Collaborate with program leadership and partners for continuity of foster family support.
• Assist with scheduling coverage and respond to urgent licensing issues.
