Job summary

Thompson seeks a Licensing Supervisor to lead licensing and training staff within Foster Care, ensuring regulatory compliance and effective processes. You will guide recruitment, review files for accuracy, and support system partners to sustain foster family services.

The role blends community-based and hybrid work, with some evenings or weekends for orientations and trainings while maintaining regular supervision and compliance duties.

Qualifications

• Must have Tennessee Driver’s License.
• Meet credentialing, licensing and privileging standards for the program(s).
• Bachelor’s degree in social work and two years of related experience OR
• Master’s in social work and one year of related experience OR
• Master’s in human services and two years of related experience OR
• Bachelor’s in human services and three years of related experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, oversight, and support to Licensing and Training Specialists.
• Oversee foster home recruitment, licensing, compliance, and support activities.
• Review licensing and re-licensing status reports and supervise staff.
• Collaborate with program leadership and system partners for foster family support.
• Assist with scheduling coverage, respond to licensing issues, and participate in meetings.
