Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Forward Planner to support Army Sustainment Command (ASC) on LOGCAP-related tasks. The role involves day-to-day operations coordination, contract data package development, and staff action drafts in line with Army regulations.

Travel up to 25% may be required to support DoD customers. The successful candidate will hold an active DoD Secret clearance, US citizenship, a Bachelor’s degree, and extensive logistics and planning experience within joint or Army headquarters

Qualifications

Active DoD Secret Security clearance is required.
U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

Assist with day-to-day operations, synchronization, and coordination for LOGCAP and provide recommendations on operational issues.
Perform in-depth research and analysis of policy, regulations, directives, or issues, and prepare briefing papers and information for training and exercises.
Develop and maintain LOGCAP contract requirements packages (technical data, exhibits, diagrams) and ensure completeness and accuracy.
Review, coordinate, and develop staff actions; prepare briefings and memos per Army regulations (AR 25-50) and collaborate with the LOGCAP Planner.
Research inquiries, monitor events involving operations and exercises, and respond professionally in a timely manner.
Prepare briefings and special studies; monitor changing LOGCAP requirements; participate in training events (LOGCAP, others).
Develop and update exercise event scheduling requirements; assist with course curriculum.
