Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Forward Planner to support Army Sustainment Command (ASC) on a CONUS/OCONUS contract. The role focuses on LOGCAP operations, research, and contract requirements development, with travel up to 25% and a DoD Secret clearance requirement.

A Bachelor's degree and military logistics experience are essential. The position emphasizes coordination with senior commands, participation in training and exercise events, and ensuring alignment with Army regulations.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• 10 years’ experience supporting Joint/Army headquarters or equivalent.
• Graduate of MEL4 program and the Support Operations Course (Phase 2).
• Understanding of Joint Operation Planning Process (JOPP).
• Broad knowledge of Army sustainment and related HQs.
• Recent experience at one-star or higher command.
• Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Valid U.S. Passport.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations, synchronization, and coordination for LOGCAP.
• Conduct research and analysis of policy, regulations, and industrial issues; prepare briefings and information papers.
• Develop and maintain LOGCAP contract requirements packages and ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare analyses, draft staff actions, and coordinate briefings and memos per Army regulations.
• Research inquiries and monitor ongoing operations and exercises; respond in a timely manner.
• Attend meetings and teleconferences; manage Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) injects.
• Develop exercise event scheduling requirements and update curriculum as needed.
