Job summary
Serco Inc. is seeking a Forward Planner to join the Global Logistics Augmentation and Support Services (GLASS) team at Fort Knox, KY, supporting Army Sustainment Command.
You will perform in-depth research, develop LOGCAP contract requirements packages, and coordinate actions with the LOGCAP Planner to ensure mission readiness. The role requires an Active Secret clearance, a Bachelor's degree, and 10 years of logistics experience with Joint/Army headquarters.
Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- 10 years logistics experience supporting US Army or Joint HQs
- Military MEL4/Logistics operations training preferred
- Understanding of JOPP workflows and Army sustainment enterprise
- Willingness to travel up to 50% (CONUS/OCONUS)
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Responsibilities
- Perform independent research and analysis of policy, regulations, or industrial issues.
- Assist with day-to-day logistics operations and coordination for LOGCAP.
- Develop and maintain LOGCAP contract requirements packages and diagrams.
- Prepare briefs, memos, and information papers per Army regulations.
- Monitor evolving requirements and coordinate with LOGCAP Planner.
- Contribute to training materials and exercise event planning.
