Job summary

Serco is seeking a Forward Planner to support Army Sustainment Command (ASC) operations on a CONUS/OCONUS contract. The role emphasizes logistics planning, policy research, and development of LOGCAP contract artifacts.

A DoD Secret clearance is required, along with 10 years of HQ experience and MEL4/Support Ops training. You will coordinate with the LOGCAP team, prepare briefs, and monitor evolving requirements while traveling up to 25% and maintaining security clearances; a U.S.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 10+ years experience in Joint/Army headquarters support.
• MEL4 and Support Operations Course Phase 2 completed with logistics deployment experience.
• Understanding of JOPP principles.
• Broad Army sustainment knowledge and communications with HQs.
• Recent experience at flag level command preferred.
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Ability to travel up to 25% (CONUS/OCONUS).
• U.S. Passport valid.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations, synchronization, and coordination for LOGCAP and provide recommendations on operational issues.
• Conduct in-depth research/analysis of policy, regulations, directives, or industrial issues; prepare briefings and information papers.
• Develop/maintain LOGCAP contract requirements packages; screen for completeness and accuracy.
• Review/coordinate staff actions; prepare briefings and memos per AR 25-50; collaborate with LOGCAP Planner.
• Research inquiries and monitor events involving new/ongoing operations and exercises.
• Prepare briefings and special studies; monitor/log LOGCAP requirements.
• Attend meetings/teleconferences; manage Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) injects.
• Develop/update exercise event scheduling requirements.
