Job summary

Crowe AI Studio in the United States is seeking an experienced AI Tech Lead to design, develop, and manage AI agents that accelerate audit workflows. You will be hands‑on, partnering with Audit SMEs to translate workflows into agent capabilities and patterns.

The role combines senior technical leadership with practical coding, CI/CD in Azure DevOps, and mentoring of a growing team as the portfolio expands. Strong Python expertise and cloud experience are essential.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
5+ years of professional Python development experience.
Hands‑on experience designing, developing, and productionizing AI agents or AI‑assisted workflows.
1+ years of hands‑on experience with AI agents or AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft, Anthropic, OpenAI).
Experience with a Skills‑based architecture, including authoring definitions and prompts.

Responsibilities

Own the design, development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of AI agents and agent‑assisted workflows across Crowe's Audit practice.
Work as a forward deployed engineer paired with Audit SMEs to learn workflows and design agents from real needs.
Stay hands‑on in development: write, review, test, and maintain substantial Python code and agent resources.
Manage project scope, timelines, and stakeholder communication for the agents you own.
Design and develop modular, reusable agent patterns and a Skills‑based architecture.
Serve as the technical authority for the agent layer and align with Audit tech ecosystem.
