Job summary

Crowe AI is seeking an AI Tech Lead to design, build, and own AI agents that accelerate Crowe's Audit services. You will work hands-on with Audit practitioners, shaping agent workflows and the technical patterns that scale across the portfolio.

The role blends engineering leadership with deep hands-on development in Python, cloud deployments, and AI tooling, with potential to grow a team of forward deployed engineers and engineers who own roadmap slices.

Qualifications

8+ years in software engineering for enterprise apps and services.
5+ years Python development with enterprise-grade apps.
Hands-on AI agents or AI-assisted workflows design and deployment.
Experience with AI platforms (Microsoft/Anthropic/OpenAI) and agent tooling.
Project leadership, scoping, and end-to-end delivery in fast-paced environments.
Strong communication with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Deliver and maintain AI agents and agent-enabled workflows for audit tasks.
Work directly with Audit SMEs in a forward deployed engineer model.
Write, review, test, and maintain substantial Python codebases and agent resources.
Manage scope, timelines, and stakeholder communications for assigned agents.
Design a scalable Skills-based architecture and reusable patterns.
Lead engineers, review designs, and establish engineering standards.
Develop CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and monitor production agents.
