Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Fuquay-Varina, NC is seeking a dedicated yard/warehouse operator to move, stage and assist in producing precast concrete products.

You will operate forklifts and loaders, load customer trucks, perform inspections and keep the area clean while coordinating with service teams.

This non-exempt, on-site role requires high school diploma and 2+ years of heavy equipment experience, with safety and teamwork as top priorities.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years experience operating heavy equipment preferred
• Experience operating forklifts with > 18k lb capacity
• Prior experience utilizing loaders is preferred
• Knowledge of basic math and measurements
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically throughout the day

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial forklift and loader to transport inventory, unload incoming stock and load orders
• Pull and stage orders for shipment
• Load customer trucks based on ship tickets
• Push aggregate material utilizing a loader
• Complete weekly equipment inspections
• Keep area safe, clean and organized
• Interface with customer service, technical service, and delivery personnel
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
