Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a forklift operator to safely move and stage precast concrete products in our North Carolina yard. This role supports production by loading, unloading, and preparing shipments with attention to quality and safety.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 2+ years of heavy equipment experience, and the ability to read simple instructions and lift up to 40 lbs. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years experience operating heavy equipment preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts with >18k lb. capacity.
• Prior experience utilizing loaders is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic math and measurements.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial forklift and loader to transport inventory, unload incoming stock and load orders.
• Pull and stage orders for shipment.
• Load customer trucks based on ship tickets.
• Push aggregate material utilizing a loader.
• Complete weekly equipment inspections.
• Keep area safe, clean and organized.
• Interface with customer service, technical service, and delivery personnel.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
