Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Forklift Operator to move materials in an outdoor, unpaved manufacturing setting while adhering to safety policies. The role supports our precast concrete and infrastructure product lines across North America.

Ideal candidates bring at least 2 years of forklift experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work safely outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of forklift operation and safety procedures.
• Ability to work in outdoor, rugged environments.
• Ability to meet safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine operator adjustments and material requirements.
• Observe equipment operation to detect machine malfunction.
• Perform routine maintenance to include lubricating, fueling and cleaning.
• Inspect and complete equipment report daily.
• Move levers, shift gears, and maneuver steering to operate equipment.
