Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Fuquay-Varina, NC, seeks an Equipment and Machine Operator to support precast production by moving and staging inventory, loading orders, and assisting in daily operations.

You will operate forklifts, load customer trucks, perform weekly equipment inspections, and collaborate with delivery and service teams in a safety‑conscious manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years' experience operating heavy equipment preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts with > 18k lb capacity.
• Prior experience utilizing loaders is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic math and measurements.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial forklift and loader to transport inventory, unload incoming stock and load orders.
• Pull and stage orders for shipment.
• Load customer trucks based on ship tickets.
• Push aggregate material utilizing a loader.
• Complete weekly equipment inspections.
• Keep area safe, clean and organized.
• Interface with customer service, technical service, and delivery personnel.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
