Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Equipment and Machine Operator to join our yard crew. You will safely move, stage, and load precast concrete products, operating forklifts and loaders to keep production flowing.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2+ years of heavy equipment experience, and the ability to read simple instructions, measure accurately, and lift up to 40 lbs. This full-time role offers strong benefits and growth opportunities within CRH.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years experience operating heavy equipment preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts with >18k lb capacity.
• Prior experience utilizing loaders is preferred.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial forklift and loader to transport inventory, unload incoming stock and load orders
• Pull and stage orders for shipment
• Load customer trucks based on ship tickets
• Push aggregate material utilizing a loader
• Complete weekly equipment inspections
• Keep area safe, clean and organized
• Interface with customer service, technical service, and delivery personnel
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
