Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a dependable yard crew member to safely move, organize and assist in the production of precast concrete products to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate will operate forklifts and loaders, pull and stage orders for shipment, load customer trucks, and help maintain a clean, safe work area while communicating effectively with team members and other departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years experience operating heavy equipment preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts with > 18k lb. capacity.
• Prior experience utilizing loaders preferred.
• Knowledge of basic math and measurements.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial forklift and loader to transport inventory, unload incoming stock and load orders.
• Pull and stage orders for shipment.
• Load customer trucks based on ship tickets.
• Push aggregate material utilizing a loader.
• Complete weekly equipment inspections.
• Keep area safe, clean and organized.
• Interface with customer service, technical service, and delivery personnel.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
